The UEFA Champions League has not started well for Real Madrid. The most successful team of the tournament lost three of their first five matches. So Los Blancos were under a lot of pressure before taking the field against Atalanta.
Real played against Atalanta last night. At the end of the day, they got relief by winning 3-2 goals in the opponent’s field. Three of their star footballers– Kyllian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr– scored for Madrid on such a winning night.
Mbappe broke the deadlock for Real Madrid by scoring the first goal on the night of victory. He also scored in his last match in La Liga. Meanwhile, this French star scored his 50th goal in the UEFA Champions League by scoring for Real tonight.
Atalanta equalized in the first half of the match. Charles De Ketelaere scored from the penalty spot in added time. However, after returning from the break in the second half, Real took the lead again.

Vini put the team ahead by scoring in the 56th minute of the match. He got the ball in the box and scored with a great finish. After that Real increased the gap with Bellingham’s goal. He scored the first goal of the current season with fantastic single effort.
Ademola Lookman then netted a goal for Atletico. However, it was not enough to save the match. In the end, Real Madrid got a relief victory after losing two matches in UEFA Champions League.
Real have won 3 and lost 3 in the six matches they have played so far in the tournament. As a result, Real is in the 18th position of the list with 9 points. Atlanta is in 9th place with 11 points. Otherhand Liverpool is at the top with full 18 points.
