Phil Foden, Manchester City Midfielder, has been named Premier League’s 2023/24 Player of the Season, while Chelsea’s Cole Palmer was named Young Player of the Season.
Manchester City is in the race with Arsenal to win this season’s title. They are now table toppers among 20 teams and just 1 match left to lift the title this season.
Phil Foden was a solid performer throughout the season. He scored 25 goals in all competitions, 17 goals and 8 assists in the Premier League.
Foden has been nominated among Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak, Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, Virgil van Dijk, Ollie Watkins and Cole Palmer, who was the top performer this season.
“The Premier League is acknowledged as the greatest league in the world, and it is a pleasure to have been nominated with so many other great players who have all enjoyed special seasons for their clubs,” Foden said after winning the award.
Cole Palmer has not been nominated Player of the Season but he was handed over the Young Player of the Season award.
Like Phil Foden, Cole Palmer has been spending memorable time with the ball. He scored 22 goals and 10 assists this season. This performance paid him well.
