Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team clinched the ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2025 title in emphatic fashion, overpowering arch-rivals India by 191 runs in the final at the ICC Academy Ground on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
In a one-sided final, Pakistan posted a commanding 347 for 8 in their 50 overs, thanks largely to a remarkable innings by Sameer Minhas, who scored a record 172 runs off 113 balls — the highest individual score by a Pakistan batter in U-19 Youth ODIs.
Minhas’ innings featured a blend of power and precision, including multiple fours and sixes, and provided the backbone of Pakistan’s imposing total. Support from the middle order helped maintain momentum, setting a daunting target for India to chase.

In response, India were bundled out for 156 in just 26.2 overs, unable to cope with Pakistan’s disciplined pace attack and all-round bowling effort.
With bowlers such as Ali Raza, Abdul Subhan and Mohammad Sayyam regularly breaking partnerships, Pakistan’s bowling unit ensured complete control throughout India’s innings.
