
The upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 is set to be the biggest tournament in football history, featuring an expanded format, more matches, and global participation like never before.
The 2026 World Cup will be jointly hosted by United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the first time three nations will co-host the competition.
World Cup 2026 will be the biggest and most exciting edition of the tournament to date as 48 teams from around the globe compete in 104 fixtures. From the tournament’s first whistle on 11 June to the last kick of the FIFA World Cup Final on 19 July.
48 teams divided into 12 groups (A–L). Each group has 4 teams. Top 2 teams + 8 best third-placed teams advance. Knockout stage begins with a Round of 32. This format ensures more matches and wider global representation.
