Amid growing uncertainty over the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in India, Pakistan has expressed support for Bangladesh’s position. Multiple diplomatic and cricketing sources say Pakistan agrees with Bangladesh’s concerns regarding security and dignity.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has already requested the International Cricket Council (ICC) to consider hosting Bangladesh’s matches outside India. According to the BCB, adequate guarantees on both security and team dignity are essential for playing on Indian soil under the current circumstances.
